Better deal than the bleached! By mermaid
Did the math and the bleached are slightly more expensive than the natural. The bleached are .000225418871 cents/sq. in. The natural are .000222951389 cents/sq in. So, don't buy the bleached thinking they're a better deal. The environment will be happy.
Strong, Absorbent, and all Natural By networkguru
I run a green bed and breakfast, and these are perfect. All natural, no bleach, they are strong, absorbent, and the rolls include more towels than their competitors. Choose the subscribe and save option and you can save over 10 bucks on each case. They are made in the USA, so you are supporting manufacturing right here at home, and they are made with post consumer materials (recycled)
Awesome product By Stella1411
I have been using this product for quite some time and I can only say great things about it. In my opinion it does the same job as the leading brand and it is helping our planet. It couldn't be better!
Seventh Generation Paper Towels By Sam Wade (Florida)
These towels are absorbent and do what paper towels are supposed to do. I use a lot of paper towels and like knowing that I am being kinder to the environment than I would be if I used other brands of towels. I plan to buy them again and again.
A MUST HAVE! Healthier for the environment and you By Shopping Granny (Phoenix, AZ)
I highly recommend this item to anyone concerned with the environment. I initially ordered them because of the number of paper towels we use in the care and cleaning of the snakes we raise. I love the fact that they are made using 100% recycled paper. The towels are also free of dyes, inks, fragrances and they are unbleached! These qualities are great for our snakes because reptiles are sensitive to bleach and dyes. Thanks to the "green" qualities of this product I feel that my reptiles are healthier as a result of my using them. These same qualities make them safer for use around children as well. I have also found that they are just as strong and hold up as well or better than the paper towels I formerly used in cleaning around the house. I will never go back to the name brand "pretty" paper towels. Function, safety and cost are the main criteria behind my purchases and these meet (and in some cases exceed) those concerns. Just give them a try, you will not regret it.
Great Product By Nana G.
If you are a "green" generation customer, these towels are great. Love the color as it blends in with the natural stones and tiles I have used in my kitchen, which means I can keep the towels conveniently on my countertop without destroying the beauty of the natural stones decor in kitchen. Was told that 7th Generation was no longer making this color and was disappointed but glad that I could still get them online. I hope the company rethinks its decision.
Gets the job done without killing trees By S. Waters
These get the job done just great for me, and with subscribe and save they are significantly cheaper than buying from anywhere else. Also, I love the mission of Seventh Generation and the fact that they create quality products that have less impact on the environment.
As the top reviewer said, be prepared to stash these somewhere, 30 rolls is more than you think. When I lived in an apartment I had to stash them under my bed because I didn't have room anywhere else. That said, it's quite nice to always have paper towels on hand since one box of these things lasts me a year. I think if I didn't have pets they would last even longer.
LOve these paper towels By BanditoJose (Warwick, RI)
I've been using these paper towels for YEARS....I LOVE purchasing them through amazon because they come in a simple to break down cardboard box with no other frills...no other packing except the individually wrapped paper towels and the box....love it. I use them in my office building now instead of running out to BJs every 3 months....saves time and saves money AND saves resources simply by using these paper towels as opposed to some cheapo non-env friendly brand. The next best thing to only using hand towels.
LOVE these paper towels! By Raw Foodie (Dardenne Prairie, MO USA)
I am SO happy with these paper towels...especially the fact that I can compost them! I use them to wrap produce in and then put them in green bags. I also fold a couple of them in half to put in the plastic clamshells that my organic greens come in. It helps keep the produce fresh for SO long. Once I use the produce, I just let the paper towels dry and then use them again to clean my countertops with a squirt of my all natural cleaner. I love knowing I'm making an impact on the environment, too, and have these on autoship. I guess the only downside, if you can call it that, is that the sheets are a little smaller than what you're used to with your standard, bleached store brand. Also, since they are compostable, they're not filled with rag or other "fillers" that make them more heavy duty...like a scrub cloth; but, I didn't expect that. I think they're a great product!
