Brave

Product Description
Set in the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland, Disney Pixar's Brave follows the heroic journey of Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald), a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson).

Determined to change her fate, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane), unleashing chaos in the kingdom. When she turns to an eccentric Witch (voice of Julie Walters), she is granted an ill-fated wish and the ensuing peril forces Merida to harness all of her resources including her mischievous triplet brothers to undo a beastly curse and discover the meaning of true bravery.

Excellent story with great Pixar animation. I read a reviewer said it does not fit the Pixar story standards. Not true. Excellant original story that Pixar is famous for. Great addition to the Pixar family.

Absolutley In Love By Jennifer Helm (CALIFORNIA)
This movie was sooooooo awesome! Some other reviewers said that it was lacking a storyline? I couldnt disagree with that more! This movie was so good and funny and touching. I actually teared up a few times! I thought it had a great storyline! I could have done without the bare butts and major cleavage but if it had to be done, Id say it was done in a tasteful manner. I will buy this movie ASAP, its for sure a movie that can be enjoyed over and over and over.

An awesome princess tale that isn't centered around some "romance". Creative and fun . Merida is so much more human than other characters I've seen. She is proud, strong and selfish. You watch her develope into a kind and noble person. You also see that sometimes the "greater good" starts at home with her mother the Queen. The real adventure is not all the incredible things that happen, but rather how everyone grows from it. Plus a ferocious fight scene at the end doesn't hurt either.

Great movie! By ez (GA United States)
My only regret regarding this movie is that I only saw it once at the theater! Ah, now the wait for it to arrive in disc form.

Extraordinary, Wonderful Movie By Cynthia A. Stramaglia (LOCKPORT, NY, US)
I saw Brave for the first time yesterday and was so deeply touched by the relationship between the mother and daughter. The music is great - the accents are a wonderful new experience for the audience and the overall story is wonderful. The main character Merida grows so much in her understanding of her mother and herself throughout the story. And the mother-daughter relationship grows in depth as they move through the challenges they face.

Highly recommend this movie for children - especially girls - ages 8 and older. Younger ones may need a little support with the scary scenes and there are a few which is why it is rated PG. Fantastic production from digital animation that rocks to the voices for each character! 5 Star Rating for sure!! Can't wait to own my own copy!

Best Movie Yet By Jennie James (San Antonio, TX)
This is the best Princess movie since The Little Mermaid!!! Some people like my mommma decided to judge it with Tangled which was good but this movie has action and adventure and everything that a child, princess lover, and adult would love.... No spoilers but the middle is a little scary and the close to the ending is sad and grown ups should watch this before children or watch with child! To me I was 100% into it. I am definatly going to buy it when it comes out. Ive gone to see it in 3D and it was AMAZING!

This movie was fantastic! A very positive reinforcement for girls, but enough action and fun for everyone! I am an adult Disney fan, saw this movie with another adult - we both loved it!

Excellent Movie By P. Schuh (Maryland)
Whole family really enjoyed this one. Reviewers who downgraded it for being scary should have read a "parents review" before taking kids so young. That's why movies have a rating system. A fantastic looking film that tells a great moral tale for children but funny enough to keep adults amused.

BRAVE ROCKS By kendrick
Brave is one of the best movie I ever seen. Brave is very fu.nny. Everybody wants to watch movie over and over.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! By Jade Empire (California)
The graphics were Beautiful with the country side & the characters. The voice acting for the characters was Great. Their Scottish accents were fun to hear. Kelly McDonald who voiced Merida was Exceptional. I don't know if they give Academy Awards for voice work. She sure deserves one. I was suprised by the story. When her Mother turned into a bear. Her Mother was a Delightful bear. Emma Thompson also did a Great job as Merida's Mother. I also liked Merida's Father. He really loved & supported Merida in whatever she wanted. He was just trying to keep peace with the Queen. This Film was Flawless.. It is a classic. Hundreds of years from now.

When many of the films that come out in this time will be long forgotten. This film will still be held up and cheered. All the Princess films I have Ever seen. She finds a Prince & marries & lives happily ever after. At the end of this film instead of riding off into the sunset with a Prince. Merida is riding off in the sunset happily with her Mother. Bravo for individuality, choice, change in her Mother, love & about family. I loved this film. I Highly Recommend this film...! Just an added note to my review. Anyone who would give this movie a low or one star rating is Wrong. This is a One of Kind Unique Princess, Mother & Family movie. GO See it For Yourself..!
