First of all, to all those that rated this at 1 or 2 stars, WHY? It's not about winning all the time. The Mario Kart series got it's start on the SNES and has gained massive popularity since then. The "weapons", as some people call them, are there more for fun than anything else. I think it's hilarious when you are about half a track ahead and one of the NPC's or your friends hits you with lightning and you shrink down in size. This game is all about the fun factor, not about getting first place all the time. What other racing game is this funny and has such a high replay value? Answer: NONE. MARIO KART FOREVER!

This is a really awesome game, one of the best Mario Kart games out there. Sometimes racing with the Wii Wheel is a bit difficult, but that isn't really too much of a complaint, once you get used to it you'll be fine. This is a great game that I recommend! -Trent Foreman, Author of Nightmare.

Mario is an all time classic, never gets old for me. My boys and I really enjoy playing this game on Sunday mornings. Love the wheel that comes with the game and how awesome the graphics are. Could get monotonous for some after a while, but I'm not in that camp! Tried playing the game online a few times with other players and got hammered! Wish I had more time to play.
Best game ever This is the best game we own! My four year old loves this and plays for ages. Other kids games frustrate him, but this one is the best. I love it too. Just don't get to use it enough. Best wii game we own!
Great game, play in moderation
As a parent I don't want my kids to get addicted to video games, but I think video games such as Mario Kart also can be used as a learning experience for kids. I have a 4 year old son who just started playing this and his abilities are nothing short of amazing. In moderation, I think this is a great game for little kids. What they learn I don't know, but I'm sure there's a learning experience somewhere in there.

We gave this to our 5 year old and he loves it. It's become his favorite game. We only have the one wheel that came with the game, but the regular controller works fine, too.

I usually don't fancy Driving games as I don't drive & I always had hard times with driving games. But this game is FUN!! The controls are easy. The wheel made playing this game more fun & comfortable. Only thing is that the unlocking of new cups & vehicles are not that easy. That is a challenge! Overall, the kids at home enjoy it so much that I had to buy additional wheels. Even my 64-year old mum loves it! Great Game! Up to 4 players can play. It's really fun to see the family drving together! Love the game!!

I bought this as a Xmas gift for my grandson, who has gotten hours of fun playing the game. It amazes me how fast he learns the skills required. I would recommend the game.
