I am a guy and I love having nice well kept nails. I've been using another polish O.P.I Clear top coat which I bought at Ulta and the shine was great and later on I saw my friend using this very same color it gives out a nicer more natural healthier looking nails and so I couldn't help but copy her (lol) and so I also bought this polish and it's GREAT!! I put this as a bottom coat on my nails twice on each and then put the clear coat on to make my nails extra shinny.

We're all looking to save money and not give up some simple luxuries. Let's face it, manicures are a luxury. I watched what my manicurist did and used and have decided to do my best to take care of my own nails. The most difficult part for me is getting the right shape on my nails. The easiest? The polish. I noticed she used OPI base, polish and top coat. They all go on so easy and dry very quick. It does take a little practice but I'm getting the hang of it. Best part is I can do easy touch ups because I have all my colors here at home.

I've been a nail biter most of my life, and I've only just stopped in the last six months. I found that giving myself weekly manicures helped a great deal. With this base coat, any color I put on top doesn't bleed through or discolor my nails. When I wear it alone (as I have to keep polish on my nails to keep from biting them), it adds a very subtle shine - like buffed natural nails - which doesn't call attention to my typically short, thin nails. Finally, it dries very fast!

This keeps your nails from staining when you use dark colored polish. It dries super fast and I've found that it also helps prevent chipping. I don't think it did much for nail-strengthening (I'm not sure if it's supposed to); I have very thin nails and the base coat doesn't really affect that at all.

I wear this one with OPI top coat and my nail polishes stay up to 7 days WITHOUT chipping and I use my hands a lot. This base coat also prevented my nails from getting any sort of yellow discoloration. This is a must buy if you want to wear your nail design for a while. I highly recommend this product!
