Customer Reviews
One of best on the market By Cheryl Fontaine (Seattle, WA)
Badger SPF 30 is hands down one of the best sunblocks on the market. Those people who are panning it are doing so because they did not read the instructions; they used it like the stuff they buy at the drugstore - all the big brand-name products that cost a lot, say "apply thickly and let soak in", and don't do nearly the job of protecting your skin.

loved it By Diane Sheets (sunny so cal)
I bought this product online last year because NOTHING was working for my fair skinned 7 year old. no matter what the SPF on the bottle said, she would burn and her nose would blister. I read an article on ewg.org about SPF's not being advertised properly because of the chemicals in the sun screen actually counter acting it! insane, all this money blown for nothing. so I tried, one last time, and badger worked! I had no issues with it absorbing into her skin, but I had also been forwarned that a little goes a long way. she was able to enjoy her summer with no painful sunburn on her face! and no new freckles ;) I misplaced my sunscreen from last summer and am now getting ready to buy another one for the so cal sun.

BEST product ever! By sophie miaou (vancouver)
After reading the reviews here and planning to buy the product, I actually found it on sale at my local Whole Foods.... Used it about 3 weeks ago on a trip to the Yucatan. First, I just loved the smell, which is subtle and earthy, very pleasant! I would just apply a bit at a time, massaging it very nicely into the skin... other posters here are right: it does "melt" very nicely into the skin if you use a LITTLE at a time for different parts - arms, legs, etc.

great sunscreen for everyone By Erika Ruelas
I love that this is organic and it actually works. my family wore and it helped protect us when we were on vacation. If you are going to be in direct sunlight for hours I recommend re-applying. As long as you do so you should be fine.

Awesome Natural Sunscreen By P. Benoit (Wayzata, MN)
Yes, its thick, but this stuff works! We like the light scent. Even after a long day of swimming and sweating, no burns in sight.

The best sunscreen By A. Vance (Santa Monica, CA)
I really like this sunscreen. As another reviewer mentioned, it comes out with a few tiny gritty pieces but they go away when rubbed in. Leaves my face a little white but that goes away after 5 min. The best part about it is that it leaves my skin feeling so nice, which I think might be because of the shea butter. And the scent is wonderful--very natural. If you don't like a slight scent of lavender go with the unscented. The only other thing to mention is that in my experience you have to reapply A LOT if you're going to be swimming so I generally go with a more commercial waterproof brand for that use.

The most harmless sunscreen By P. Visser (Idaho, USA)
According to my readings online, this sunscreen truly is harmless (unlike so many others out there that are labeled natural and safe). The Badger brand leaves a white sheen which actually prevents all UV rays to even get to your skin, because the rays simply are reflected away from your skin. No harmfull chemicals whatsoever. Love it!

Love this sunscreen! By RachelRenee
My whole family loves the sunscreen. It works and it smells wonderful! I would recommend the lavender one. We tried the Badger unscented sunscreen and it just wasn't as nice as the lavender sunscreen.
