I have two dogs and two cats who bring fleas inside all the time. Living on 40 acres of trees and grass, the idea of spraying the outside, as well as the inside, to kill the fleas gave me heart palpitations. The cost alone would send me straight to the bankruptcy lawyer. So, as often as was concidered safe, by insecticide standards, I would dowse my kids and house.

This had been an ongoing process for the past three months, and my purse strings were starting to feel the burn from the heavy exertion of spending constant money to stop the little hopping beasts. Finally, a couple of weeks ago a friend, having heard my plea over a few very frustrated Facebook posts, brought me out a couple of flea traps. My first reaction was to chuckle. The idea was completely ludicrous.

As advertised. I didn't give it 5 stars because that would be perfect, and I don't think there is any such thing, especially when it comes to getting rid of fleas. It won't take care of your flea issue alone, but in conjunction w/ other things, it's a great tool.

Every year we seem to have a flea problem, even though we have an inside cat. This year, we don't have to worry about fleas jumping on us! When we first received the product, we thought, "this isn't going to work." And, "This looks cheap!" But it's the middle of the summer, and they seemed to be attracted to this odd product. I may have only had 1 or 2 of those creepy critters on me, where as before, they seemed to attack. I'm about to order another for the basement. Get one!

This solved a flea infestation I had in my house. The fleas were so bad that my kids and I were getting bit. I had treated our dogs and was vacuuming everyday. I didn't want to fog the house or spray the carpets. After a few days, the trap had caught 50 + fleas. One word of caution, the trap needs to be placed on the floor so be careful that you put it where kids and pets won't tough the super sticky part.

The title says it all...it is a simple concept, but VERY effective. After 24 hours, over a dozen of the little critters have been nailed concluding a long, and expensive battle with foggers, etc. This product works...and works well!

Made a huge difference By Durham Mike
The fleas from my grandmother-in-laws cat were bad. We became infested almost over night. Along with other treatments to inhibit egg production, these traps (5 all around the house) caught hundreds of fleas. There is unfortunately, no over night fix to bring down flea populations. However, after a week or so we had a lot fewer fleas around.

I have five dogs and five cats. I live on 10 acres of sand and have a continual problem with sand fleas. Not only do the animals bring the fleas in the house, but they hitch rides on our shoes as we are coming in. I bought one of these as I have used almost everything else to try and control the fleas in the house. When I got the item, I placed it by the door entrance and the first hour it had over 50 fleas in it.

I realize that the animals have to be treated also, but I am actually so impressed with this that I have ordered more. I did not give it five stars because the light bulb did not last more then 5 hours, but in that time the sticky pad filled up. I bought a new light bulb at a hardware store and it continues to work. Not sure why it did not work for some of the others that did reviews, but I am completely satified. Have not had a flea bite in a week. I also had Mosquitoes in the trap.
