I was surprised at how cheap this item looked. Although OK for its purpose; I would not buy another; The picture was (I feel) distorted. I can live with my mistake.

An outstanding product especially when compaired with the early Kindles. Easy to read, color, no need for night light. Lots of apps. Excellent response in downloading etc. Great size whe compared to IPAD. Good battery life. Accesses all my original Kindle library.

On-line store not as good as same on PC, eg digital pre-order access. Higly recommend getting the Missing Manual book as some things are not obvious ar even explained to the new user. Also they should tell that the old Kindle cord and addapter can be used to charge as well as the one included in the package.

The zip sleeve lets me take my Kindle everywhere without worrying about scratches on the screen. I just toss it in my purse or bag. It only zips on 2 sides. I'm not sure why this bothers me, but it does. It works perfectly.
