Payday is very fun and very fast paced - I like how the objectives keep changing as you progress through the mission. The developers have continued to support it and listen to community feedback (just added an advanced stat function, very nice as well). The focus is on short scenarios with changing objectives. You progress and unlock new weapons and add ons like in most modern FPS. The action is more arcade like, you seem to be able to take a fair amount of damage before you die, not one shoted like a counterstrike type game, however death has a consequence - it can sometimes take 2 or 3 minutes to respawn if your team mates dont' negotiate your release (by capturing a hostage and trading them to the cops for you to respawn faster).

Every heist is extremely well thought out. The plot is solid. The police system is fantastic and is a huge challenge to combat unless you are a coordinated team. If you're a fan of teamwork, this is the best game you'll ever play.

This is a really funny game, you can play solo or online, but with friends its more funny, you rob banks and take hostage, plant explosives, etc

Very great coop game By Nick
I've gotten a good 150 hours out of this game and am still not tired of it. The gameplay is just phenomenal and the replayability just seems to be endless. There are 6 missions with 2 more coming in DLC, various random events will occur throughout the missions to slightly alter the game. None of these greatly affect the mission but can easily make or break a game on higher difficulties. The difficulty is very diverse. Ranging from tediously easy to impossibly hard. Teamwork is an absolute must on higher difficulties and is definitely the hardest part of the game. It's very intense, rewarding, and just an all around great game.

It's an addicting coop game much like left for dead. These are the kinds of games I enjoy most. The graphics are so-so and the voice acting is bad to the point its funny, but they do have some funny things they say like "don't taze me bro..." which always makes me laugh. The combat can be intense which is what keeps bringing me back the the game. Best $20 I've spent in a while!

I was surprised with how fun this game is. I was also disappointed with the lack of mods for it. If this was a Valve title it would be amazing, but sadly, it isn't. Well worth the sale price, though.

Worth every penny By 57
It's basically Left 4 Dead 2 with clowns and cops, and I mean living clowns and cops. Although it does have AI you should really bring a friend or better yet 3. That's the whole point of it being multiplayer isn't it? The action is fast, random, making each heist a thrill. Skills add a certain twist to the gameplay and as the title says, I don't regret buying it for a second.
