Great Series By Alaska Duster
I could not stop reading this series until it was complete. I would recommend this series for any parent that has childern that like to read. The growth that Gregor has as a character and the story development was incredible. I was sad to see the end of this series.

best book ever! By kat
This book is spectcular! I love it,but the only sad part is the uncertain and sad ending. There is action, adventure, suspence, and a little bit of romance in this story. This book is by far my favourite!!!!

AMAZING By Jim Marshall
l have read the underland series, and it is amazing. With great characters and many memorable moments this series really shines. When l finished the series, l loved it so much l read it again.

This series has many parts that will leave readers gasping. l couldn't put these books down. There are many parts that had me laugh out loud, while others made me so nervous or exited that l broke out in sweat.

This is also great to read to your offspring, or, if your child feels ready to read the hunger games, but you think it is too violent, have them read the underland chronicles. They will love it.

Good series for kids By Rose Kopecky (Leawood, KS)
Gregor the Overlander was on our "Battle of the Books" list for the coming school year, so I figured it was a decent choice. We listened to the first book on CD as a family. Both she and my 8 year old loved the first book, so we bought the series and downloaded it to their Kindles. The 10 year old is still on book 2 (she got distracted with other reads this summer) and the 8 year old is on book 3 and doesn't put it down. (In fact she keeps telling her older sister the "Spoilers").

There is some medium level violence and it is a little "dark" in places, but nothing I think is inappropriate for that age group. They remind me a little of the Narnia series books, although a little more graphic and no real Christian overtones, but basic good vs. evil. I also like how the first book stressed the importance of taking care of each other as a family. This has been a good series for my kids.

Better than expected By Ralph Emerson (Quitman, Tx)
My wife has read book one and enjoyed it tremendously. She is definitly over 13. We expected used merchandise but the books were new and delivery was much quicker than expected. Thanks Amazon.

Excellent Series By AMJ (USA)
Although "The Underland Chronicles" are supposed to be geared towards young adults, it was a very entertaining read for someone much older. I can certainly see how it is predominantly a series for the younger crowd but there was so much more to the series.

The books are fantastic, all the way through. The relationships developed between characters within each book was great but they also carried on throughout the series, which made it even better. Each "quest" was a lot of fun and a good mix of high paced action, intense anticipation, and just overall fun.

The box set was a great purchase because I got through each book within a few days, I didn't want to put them down! Luckily, I had the next one ready to go as soon as I finished the last. I highly recommend this series to readers of all ages, they really are a lot of fun!

New favorite series- 10 year old By Jennifer
Love these books. My son wanted to read the Hunger Games and I didn't think he was quite ready for that. This series is by the same author and he absolutely loves the storyline. Recommended read!

Totally entertaining By Pam Phillips-Steele (Alberta Canada)
Although this book was written as a youth or young adult novel, it was totally captivating. Well written and an excellent story line, the author's imagination takes you to places you didn't know existed.
