The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field).

Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets.

As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner.

As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Forget The Avengers. The Amazing Spider-man is clearly the superior Marvel movie from this year. It lived up to my expectations. It was fun, exciting and AMAZING. You'll enjoy this movie and it will certainly get that bad taste out of your mouth for those of you who didn't enjoy Spider-man 3. This is a fresh new take on Spider-man.

pure fun! this movie was all what I expected. About time they get their facts right with starting his first romance with Gwen Stacy and not Mary Jane im looking forward on what direction they take the next two movies.

The Amazing Spider-Man is a really good movie. It's definitely a whole lot better than all three Toby McGuire Spider-Man movies! At first, I thought they were going to ruin the origin and the whole plot and stuff, but was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually really enjoyed it! (I heard it's based off of Ultimate Spider-Man comics? I don't think so...) The acting is great and the way Peter Parker/Spider-Man interacts with Gwen Stacey is superb. The action is great and stylish, the humor fits perfectly.

And I love the choice of the villain (or maybe I'm just biased since The Lizard is my favorite Spider-Man villain...). The only thing I could ever complain about is that I wish they'd have given The Lizard his snout and lab coat... Oh well, maybe in one of the sequels! Oh, and the music didn't seem as great as music I've heard in other movies, but that's only a very minor gripe.

as the title of my review says the Movie was Just Amazing Awesome i think this will be a good reboot and i think Marvel did a good Job i was Kinda Hoping he would run out of Webbing During The Film like he did in the 90's Animated Show Anyway even my mom Liked it which is Strange Best Spider-Man Movie Up to Date.
