The Medium SkidStop Slow Feed Bowl is a heavy duty plastic bowl designed to slow rapid eating, promote regular digestion, and prevent bloating and discomfort for medium sized pets.
The Skid Stop bowls were designed with a rubbery base to prevent the bowl from sliding or moving around on the floor while the pet is eating. The rubber bottom creates a firm grip on slippery surfaces to prevent the bowl from moving or tipping, this also helps to prevents spills. Skid Stop bowls are dishwasher safe and are rust and bacteria resistant.

I am fostering a rescued lab puppy that was left to starve so she will eat very fast and almost choke. This bowl solved my problem. It takes longer and slows her rate down so I can feed my other 2 rescues without her eating her food and theirs. There is peace in my house once again, I just might have to keep her!
Kong also makes a toy that looks like a purple saucer that is for treats that you put inside, it also works to put food inside and she loves this one also.

I picked this up in the hopes it would help slow down my Mountain cur dog. She has had the habit of inhaling her foot very quickly to the point that she sometimes would choke herself.
It did take her a few days to figure out that she could not gobble her food down like usual, she sure tried really hard, but after a few days she started taking more time to eat and now she is eating at a much healthier pace. No more chocking and gagging herself on her food.

Our pug loves to "gobble up" food as fast as he can. With the skid stop slow feed bowl it slowed him down where now it takes him several minutes to consume his bow of food. Excellent product!!

This helps my dog slow her eating down. She would eat everything in one gulp if she could! The only improvement I would suggest is being able to choose your own color.

This feeding bowl helped my dog slow down when she was eating! She used to eat so quickly that she did not chew her food and would eventually get sick and throw it up an hour or so later. I purchased this bowl and while she did not approve of it immediately, she did come to terms with it.

I ordered this for my lab that is on a diet. Before the diet he ate at a normal pace, but once his food got cut back he started to gobble it down. This bowl has made his meal last at least 4x longer. He learned to flip the bowl over when he is done, hopefully he doesn't learn to do that when it is full. Great product, will probably go ahead and buy a spare one.

We have a 3 yr old Beagle rescue and this bowl works great. Slows him down, no more gulping and coughing while eating. Easy to clean, but have to bottle brush around the edges.

This bowl is great for slowing down my dogs' eating. One of my dogs (Australian shepherd mix) was diagnosed with several allergies earlier this year. I have become an astute label reader but it's been darn near impossible to find a commercial dog food that doesn't contain at least one thing he's allergic to. (fish, beef, and milk, in addition to dust and pollen. Are you kidding me?)
Everything has fish oil or whey or bone meal, or something that would ultimately cause severe itching and hair loss, even the high dollar foods, so I started making homemade dog food. It must be yummy because the dogs would inhale it from their regular steel bowls, and usually the one with allergies would get sick.
These bowls defintely slow them down, and no more reflux problems since we've been using them. The non-skid bottom really isn't non-skid, at least not on my floor, and they push the bowls all over the kitchen. I think some no-slip carpet pad under the bowls will take care of that, though. All in all the bowls do exactly what I hoped they would. I have two very happy dogs.

Slowed my Bella girl down! She's an American Bulldog that scarfed her food down in less than 30 seconds. So bad for her! Now, she has to fish around for it, so it really helps!
