Caution for Microwaving: This jar contains a foil seal. Do not place this jar directly in microwave. Before microwaving scoop out desired amount and place in a microwave-safe container. Allow time to cool before applying.

Directions
Gently apply as desired, paying close attention to dry or chapped areas, reapply as needed. This product will melt at high temperatures and become solid again when cool. This is natural and may affect the appearance, but will not harm the quality of the product. If hard, it can be softened by placing in a pan of hot water for 30 minutes or microwaved for a few seconds. This product is naturally hard and color/texture will vary depending on temperature. This product is guaranteed to be 100% Natural. Hexane-Free.

I use this only during the winter months to help moisturize my face and neck from the cold weather. I love this product, my skin stays radiant, smooth and moisturize. Wish it came in a LARGER container.

I've used this stuff (this particular brand), for several years. It does amazing work for softening your skin and getting rid of wrinkles. I put a little around my crow's feet and a little around my smile wrinkles at bedtime, and they are hardly visible at all. People constantly guess my age wrong by 15 years. I hardly ever write reviews, but this product is great and is amazingly priced compared to other brands.

I just received my Shea butter today, 6/20/12 and so far, I love it. I used it on my elbows, knees, and feet when I got out of the shower and it feels great, also soft too. I will buy it again.

I started using this product six months ago, to combat dry skin during the winter months. The winter prior, I had a problem with blotchy patches that would develop in the creases of my arms and behind my knees, and on my thighs. I also had mild eczema that would appear on occasion.

I use this product after showering, and my skin feels moisturized the entire day. It is creamy--there is no need to heat it up--and melts directly on contact with the skin. It is not at all greasy, and the color is white--it does not stain my clothes.

I use it on my entire body, and I find it a superb moisturizer for the face. It does not cause pimples. My skin is all always clear. I use this product on a daily basis, for the most part, and have seen drastic results to the overall health of my skin. I have no more blotchy patches that appear and no eczema. My skin is so soft and feels so moisturized. I HIGHLY recommend trying this product.

This product has not only sealed much needed moisture into my hair, but it has worked wonders for my skin. I live in Colorado, and the climate here is VERY dry. I usually have to apply lotion quite a few times a day to ward off dry skin, but with this Shea Butter, I'm good with 1 application. Also, I'm a germaphobe so I wash my hands much more than normal. I'm able to wash my hands 2-3 times without having to re-apply this product, as I do with regular hand cream or lotion. Also, as I mentioned above, I love the way it makes my hair feel. Soft without feeling weighed down (a little goes a long way though).

This all natural, inexpensive product is ideal for keeping rough skin soft. I use it on elbows, knees and heels after showering. It really keeps the heels soft and looking nice in sandals during summer months. Also great for chapped winter hands. A little bit goes a long way so it lasts a long time.

I bought my container of NOW brand 100% Shea Butter at Whole Foods. It is not even the least bit gritty, it is very smooth. It works well for moisturizing, and my husband has VERY dry skin. I am wondering if the "gritty" batches some people are getting is because of poor shipping practices? maybe it froze or sat in the heat for too long? Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know that this is not the norm for this product.
