Settlers settlers settlers how I dream of living the life of a pioneer. This is definitely the most fun board game I've ever come across. If you have three friends this game is an awesome way to spend several hours. Each second is full of delicious ecstasy and you'll want to play again and again. You can troll your enemies, form alliances, and more. The variables and board change each game so it's always different. Stop playing deuces and poker, it's time to conquer.

This game is fantastic! It's a great way to learn about trade routes, resources and commodities (with the expansions), and build logic skills. It is also fun for families or groups of all sizes and ages. I highly recommend this game.

I first got introduced to this game by my grown daughter and her husband, and we played it at their house. We loved the game and got addicted. Ever since then, whenever they came to visit us they brought their Settlers of Catan board game with them, and we have gotten our whole family hooked! After several years of this, my husband and I decided to buy our own set so we would have it here for all to play.

I have played board games with my kids since they were old enough to understand rules---it is a wonderful way to stimulate their minds and share some family time together. Settlers has helped us continue that tradition into our kids' adulthood.

This game is so much fun. It is well designed, and teaches you about strategy even though there is an element of luck involved(with the dice). This is always the #1 pick when friends come over. The tiles do not always fit perfectly, but that doesn't stop us from enjoying the game. It is a must-have for any household.

The Settlers of Catan game might sound a bit nerdy. And after being shown on Big Bang theory, I knew that this would have a stereotype. But honestly, the game is fun for all those that are looking for a game like risk, with less time commitment and more fun to be had by all.

This is an amazing game I wanted for a long time. It is very addictive. You could call it similar to a board version of Age of Empires (AOE). If you are an AOE fan, you will definitely like this game. The best part of this board game is the randomness that is introduced in it by keeping the board flexible. You can arrange the board in whichever fashion you want to make a totally new game every time. Hence each time you play this game, its an awesome, new experience.

Such an easy game to pick up. Games don't last all that long and with the ever changing board, multiple games in one night are never boring. Even my teenaged nephew, who does nothing but play video games and mocked the idea of playing a classic board game, was hooked after one game.

Great game! It's never the same twice. The whole family can play at the same time, 45 to 6: young adults, teens and preteens in between. Easy to play. The official web site has an initial play tutorial video that was very helpful, although the written directions are very clear.

This is one of my favorite board games! Great for 3-4 players (or more if you buy expansions), I've only played with all aged adults, not sure how kids would like it but it is simple enough to understand. Lots of fun for a game night, especially for people who don't want a ridiculously complex game, but who want something more fun than just simple monopoly or trivia or something. I've given this game as a gift before too. I highly recommend!
