Seriously can't think of anything that I paid so little for that is so much fun! Got the package in just 2 days (Amazon Prime) and couldn't wait to try it out (had my son charge it so I could play right away when I got home from work). These things are super easy to fly - I had it dialed in to hover without moving in under a minute (I'm a first time RC flying machine user).

My 13 year old son has one too and we love to fly them together. There's an A/B switch on the transmitter to select channels and once my copter has linked to my transmitter on A my son can turn his copter on with his transmitter on B and we fly in the same room at the same time.

GREAT HELICOPTER, ESAY TO FLY AND EASY TO LEARN
This helicopter is awesome. It arrived really fast. Since the first time i flied it i knew i was flying the best helicopter under 20 bucks ever. It's so easy to fly it will do exactly what you tell it to do. Its so well made it literally almost indestructible! And the great part is that is you ever break a part they sell all the parts. Highly Recommended for any ages!

This helicopter is worth every cent - and more. I have to admit I was skeptical at first. The instructions seem to have more words spelled wrong then right and the sentences are strangely worded, which makes it very obvious that they were probably translated. Throwing the instructions aside (very short, but they get to the point and are actually somewhat helpful), things get better. What you get is a well-made helicopter at a bargain price.

The helicopter itself is well built, with a good metal frame. The controller allows you to charge it in 40-50 min, or you can use the included USB cable to charge from your computer or, as I did, from a USB wall charger from my MP3 player. The controller allows for up, down, left, right, front, back, and spin adjustments.

Great mini helicopter for indoors
This heli is everything my son and I expected and more. It arrived promptly, was packaged well, and was relatively easy to learn how to control. Flies for roughly 8 minutes on a charge. I do recommend purchasing a larger battery (240mAh) and the wall charger. Remote takes 6 AA batteries. Use alkaline. No rechargeable. They don't provide enough juice to fly the heli. Amazon batteries are fine. I usually buy batteries at CVS. All the same. Heli is rather durable.

Son has crashed it a number of times and it still flys. Controls are easy to learn and well thought out. For the price, it makes a fantastic gift. And if you happen to crash it, it's not a big deal. They're only $17. Buy two or three like I did, knowing one will be crashed soon enough. They also sell replacement parts. Highly recommended. Buy a pair and fly them with your child. But be warned. If you have more than one child, buy each their own. Saves a lot of frustration.

I just received my Syma S107G and this thing is a blast. I have heard that some of these are fakes, luckily mine is not a fake. I purchased mine from SYMA HELI and it was well worth the $17.45. This thing is tough. I have crashed it into multiple items, including my couch, tables and ceiling and it still works fine. It takes a while to get the hang of flying it down, but after a few tries, you will get it down. I wouldn't recommend it for someone younger than 10 years old however, simply because it ca be difficult to fly and you could hit yourself or another person/pet and possibly hurt them.

This is a really awesome helicopter. I was looking to purchase one and did some research on the Syma S107 and the reviews are right this is a great beginner helicopter that flies great right out of the box. It is literately plug and play minutes after charging is complete you are flying and the build in gyro makes for awesome control for flying around the house. Great purchase!

FUN for less than $20 By penny enders (Virginia USA)
I didn't have high expectations for this helicopter, having purchased several much more expensive radio-controlled gadgets that almost immediately crashed, broke, failed to start... but for such a low cost, I figured it was worth a try. My 12-year-old son started it in the barn and quickly got the hang of the controls. It now zips around the house and is fun for everyone. I'm purchasing another for my husband, and maybe one for myself. Only drawback? It takes about 40 minutes to charge for 10 minutes of flying. That's still worth it!

I am now on my 30th or so of this style helicopter for my household over the last year. These things are great. Of all the different models, I like the 107's the best and while it may seem silly the yellow ones seem the best. there is something so wrong about having these so cheap. I feel like someone must really be loosing out.

If you have kids, be careful because its hard to tell that that part breaks because the gyrohoppers hold it all in place, but when you go to take off it flys crazy and hits people pretty hard. no injurys here, but a couple of kids that are more heli wary than they should be.

a friend of ours turned us on to these. For a relatively small amount of money, you get hours of fun. As another review said, they are pretty solid to normal bumps - think the damage happens when you get them going to fast or too high. they are very sensitive to air currents in your home as well (turn off the ceiling fans) and aren't good for outside except on a very quiet / still day. We took 2 with us to visit family and they were very popular.

The Syma S107G R/c Helicopter is an outstanding little helicopter for only 17 dollars! Its EXTREMELY stable, very fun, and very maneuverable. Parts don't seem to be an issue to find at all, with a full spares kit costing me only around 8 Dollars. The Helicopter offers about as much play time as advertised, but the 40 minute charge starts to get annoying, but to be expected. Overall, a 10/10, would recommend as a great gift for people of all ages.
