We got this toy for my one-year-old and she loves it! You can program in your child's name, favorite color, favorite animal, and favorite food. You can also select five songs for it to play and five different lullabyes (for a total of ten personalized songs). My little one's favorite song is the one that spells her name. The toy is just AWESOME!

My daughter got this toy for her first birthday and she hasn't slept without it since! Violet sings her bedtime music and says "x minutes of bedtime music! Snuggle up _name_" It is too cute. In the morning my daughter will play with Violet for around 30 minutes before she wants out of her crib. She is in love with this toy. It's been such a hit in our house that we are getting one for each of my nieces aged 1 year and 2 years old. It was very easy to download my child's name onto Violet. It took less than 20 minutes.

This is an awesome toy for any small child. Since you can pre-program your child's name it makes it much more fun and individualized to the child. I bought this for a 3 month old and she loves the songs and lights. I expect for this to remain a favorite toy as she gets older since I have several friends with children ranging in age from 1-3 that still love it!

Our baby at 8 months loves this toy. She has learned the word cat already. She also loves that violet says her name. She is very happy whenever she is with her new pal.

Saw mixed reviews on this product. We've only had it for a week or so but my niece absolutely loves it. My sister had no problems programming it. Overall we love Violet. Her voice is calming, unlike most kids toys. And my niece's face lights up every time Violet says her name. Customizable kids toys are brilliant. Violet has been great so far.

My daughter got this for her 1st birthday, she is about to turn 4 and still sleeps with Violet every night. Every so often we plug her in to update to her cuttent likes & add new songs. Love the bedtime mode so it plays her music to fall asleep, great gift!

My daughter got this toy at 18 months, she is now two and is still pretty obsessed with it. For some time she became inseparable from this dog! It helped her learn her name, which I love and we developed little dances that we do to the songs.

At 10 months old my daughter is just starting to play with this toy, but she loves to crawl and climb all over it and even stares at it a little harder when she hears her name. It's really cute! I look forward to seeing how she enjoys it as she grows. She received it as a Christmas gift when she was 4 months old but, of course, hasn't shown much interest until now.

It was easy to program by plugging it in via the USB cable, it took no more than 15 minutes. It was nice to be able to select which songs would play. The sound of the songs aren't too annoying and the little dog tag lights up on some of them. We don't play with activities (pink upper paw button) yet, but I am sure we will as she grows. I will admit, I think it's funny that one of the songs that doesn't cause the dog tag to light up is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" I thought that was a little ironic!

My granddaughter, Anabella loves it. She's 6 months old, when she sees Violet,she gets very exited. She "sing" along with Violet. Her favorite song is, "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". It's a fun to watch her. Very cute.

At firs, my 6 months old daughter was not interested, but the more she grew, the more she appreciated the toy. She loves it now. I honestly had to purchase another one (that's the 2nd) becuase I hand-washed it and I kind of broke it. The water got into the wires and it stopped responding. BUt still my little one loved it. I felt bad that this happened so I got her another one :)
