I'm writing this review assuming that you've already played FIFA 11. Reasons for this are, FIFA 11 was a revolution. After the staleness of FIFA 10 (which was basically a clone of 09 where they made it easier for you to tackle and score ridiculous goals) I was on the verge of converting to a Pro Evolution Soccer fan. I play football (soccer) in real life and personally, I like my video games to be real, not random button mashers with miserable flexibility. I loved 09, sure, but I was sick of 10. I nearly didn't buy 11, but I finally did and it blew me away.

I'll admit, PES is boring. Realism? Meh, I can't believe FIFA actually went one-up on PES in terms of realism. Maybe it doesn't have the same flexibility, but it sure as hell is way more fun, especially if you plan to play online or with a friends.

I'm assuming you've already played FIFA 11, because you should have, if you're looking to buy/play 12. 11 & 12 are nothing like the FIFA games we've seen before - better graphics, better animations, fluidity, gameplay... I consider these two as a pair of my favorite jeans now.

Graphics and overall gameplay is great. Fluid, nice movements, very real. The refferee might interact with the ball from time to time, just like in a real game. Quick free throwns from outband and free kicks are very nice. Penalties are great and the vibration you feel in the controler if you need to make a goal in a certain moment (for example loosing 1-0 at the minute 80) is great.

Every possible detail was taken care of. I used to play FIFA from 1994 untill 2010 when PES made a better game. But after comparing FIFA 2011 Vs FIFA 2012 and PES 2011 VS PES 2012 I noticed that this last one didn't change so much, and on the other hand EA made a very different and much more better game. That's why I returned to the EA product and after realizing all I was missing by not having the original I decided to finally make an investment there... and I have to say it that (along with SWTOR) it was the best videogame investment ever.

Awesome game By Ace
Fifa 12 is great fun, best game of the series. If you have a Xbox 360 controller hooked up to your PC it makes it that much better. That said, don't dare pause any Amazon download before it's completed. It will corrupt, and you will have to re-download it. This has happened several times with several downloadable games purchased from Amazon.

The gameplay is smooth and the graphics are great down to the tiniest detail. If you like the FIFA series, or just want a really solid soccer experiance, you have to get this game!

Excellent, graphics are slightly improved over 11, and so are animations. If you really want to see the differences though, you'll need to have the settings at High and MSAA at 4x, and you'll need a good graphic card for that anyway. Players do look a little more real now and akin to their real life counterparts.

This is the best soccer videogame ever and I have played all of them in the last 20 years. it is not arcade is a simulation and take time to learn de basics but when you do, then is fantastic. It is too easy to buy this game and download it in a few hours, I will use this way to buy again.
