Customer Reviews
Flat out awesome By Andy U. Ward
Portal 2 is an outstanding puzzle game. My kids (5th and 8th grade) and I (45 yrs old) all enjoy this game a great deal. Comical, challenging, and fun! A very fun way to put your brain to work, unless you are one of those 1-star folks who just need something to complain about.

One of the best games I've played By Rich
Everything about this game is awesome. Everyone must play this game. The multiplayer is really fun too. Valve did a great job with this one. I can't wait for more.

Brain Puzzling game with comedic relief By MOcon522
This game was one of the best games i've played. I ordered this game for my brother's birthday and it is such a fun puzzling game. It is a great Brain teaser but also has a lot of comedy to make the game less frustrating when the puzzles get so insane.

Hilarious and Unique By JckDnls
Portal was a nice surprise to find in The Orange Box and I've been waiting for a sequel ever since. There's not much to say that can't be found in other reviews here so I will make this one short. The story is basic but enjoyable (wasn't expecting much - it's Portal after all) and Cave Johnson made me laugh every time he came over the intercom.

The single player and co-op are both great, and the more elaborate puzzles found in the co-op are fun to conquer with a friend. The ending is one of the coolest I've seen in a long time. Portal 2 is one of the most unique and enjoyable games out there, so I'd recommend anyone interested to give it a go.

A Great Sequel By Kevin
Excellent game. The puzzles are trickier, the characters are funnier, and the game is a fine sequel. It doesn't take too long to beat the game but 2 player mode adds a few more levels with a fun twist.

Best Game Ever! By Movie Lover (Columbus, OH)
This was the best game I have ever played. I am 10 years old, and I couldn't stop playing it. This was the first real video game I played. I play it over and over again. I really hope they make a Portal 3. If they do I hope Wheatly comes back. It started off with my dad getting it from Blockbuster and I started playing it. When I finished it, I played over and over again till my dad sent it back.

Then I asked for it for Christmas and that was my favorite present. I also got the Orange Box which has the first Portal and Half-life 2. You should try Half-life 2 also. Half-life 2 is my second favorite game, but it couldn't beat Portal 2. I always hate it when kids at school say that Portal stinks even when they didn't play it. Trust me you will love Portal 2.

Superb By nwallepan
This game is really great and the best I've played in a while. I went several years without playing any of the new console games coming out and this was a nice return to the format, even though it originated as a PC game it ports to console just fine. Maybe that's really saying something about just how great the game is in general.

Innovation at it's Finest By Justin
Just as I said in my title, Portal 2 expands on it's original indie roots, and makes a very innovative, creative, and unique experience for players. This might just be the best game I have played on Xbox. Amazing is an understatement!

Great Game! By Szigidi
Great game! The 2-player co-op is a must play! The first portal was over all too soon, but I'm about 20 hours into this so far, and don't think i'm close to the end yet.

Hilarious, physics-based puzzle mind-bender By A. Gorski (Seattle, WA)
I originally played Portal 1 not knowing what to expect, honestly not expecting much. But the game totally blew my mind. I didn't think Valve could improve on that experience, but Portal 2 is even better. It only took me about a day to beat (without cheating), so I really wish it were longer. I'm hoping that there will be some DLCs coming out soon with more levels, as I want more! If you like puzzle games, enjoy sarcastic humor, and can think outside the box, this is a game you'll love. I wish I had a Portal gun in every other game I play now.

Brilliant By James
This game is awesome! Amazing combination of puzzles and comedy. Many people say this is just another lame puzzle game, but it's not. Chances are those people probably never played the first portal game, they are not intelligent to understand the high comedy, and never reached end game content or fiddled with multiplayer (where things get real interesting). Buy it!

Best money I've ever spent By A. Kurth (Peoria, IL)
To sum up my experience - I loved the comedy and gameplay in the first portal. Not only did Valve live up to the VERY high standards set in Portal 1, they IMO exceeded them. This game is creative, funny, fun, different, and this is the game that got my wife interested in playing FPSs. Even having played it through twice, I would never hesitate to pay release price to play through it again. I can't stress enough - BUY THIS GAME!

Daughter asked for and loves game By Lissa_ann (Salisbury, MD USA)
Game arrived as expected. Unfortunately the case arrived cracked. This was unfortunate since it was a gift but we just used another case from around the home. I would have been more upset if I was giving the gift to a non-family member.

Portal 2 By Slashsfan
The game is good. I really enjoyed that when it finally came in that it was still in the plastic wrapping. Other than shipping time. I am really pleased with the product.

Portal 2 Rocks By Alin Raven
Loved this game. A+ on the story, characters, art, maps and co-op! Wish I never played it, so I could do it all over again for the first time! You will enjoy this game.

Fantastic Game By Jon K
Beginning to end, Portal 2 is a great, challenging game full of great dialog and interesting puzzles. Like a shooter without violence, anyone that likes to solve problems should enjoy this one.

Unbelievable game with a great soundtrack By koolaide
The orange box brought us an awesome package that had a great campaign broke up in episodes, a fun multiplayer FPS, and a short puzzle game that left us wanting more. The music of this game is truly incredible. It at times provides just the right amount of ambiance needed and then ramps up to give certain scenes that right amount of emotion and suspense.

Must play game too short By TM
Absolutely amazing follow up to the first game. Loved the coop. Girlfriend who hates video games loved playing with me and we completed the campaign together. Sad it went by too fast. Worth picking up or at least a rental. Hate there is no plan for DLC.

This next review is going to be about this game By Daniel R. Grabowski (Milwaukee, WI)
The writers of this game clearly have a great sense of humor. You play as a character who is put through a series of tests. You feel truly immersed into the world. A ton of puzzles to solve. Great for those who like to explore.
