Customer Reviews
Really fun By A. FARLEY (Las Vegas, NV)
We love this game. It's easy to learn, and can be a quick game, or a really challenging game, depending on your opponent. I love the wood tiles, the easy of learning the game, and how fast the game advantage can change. Depending on the light, sometimes it's hard to tell the colors apart, and you need to play on a large, flat surface. Those are the only tiny issues that a buyer might need to know. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it's really fun!

Fun for all ages By Marciarita (Hillsborough, NC)
We discovered this game from a family member and had to order it immediately. It truly is fun for all ages - adults, children (even my college age children love it). It says age six but I think any child could "play" as long as they knew colors and shapes. In fact, it would be a good teaching device. Very rarely do you find a game or activity that appeals to such a wide spectrum of the population. I highly recommend it.

Love this game
The only reason I bought this game was that it was $6.00 at a consignment shop, I was on vacation visiting my parents with my daughter and her children, and my parents didn't have many games to choose from. We took this little gem home and started playing. Wow, what a great game this is. I have to admit, the instructions were a little hard to follow at first, so we went online and found some videos on You Tube.

After watching others describe the rules and seeing the game laid along with the explanation, we began to understand how to play the game properly. The age range of those of us playing were 7 - 76, and we all had a blast. It was too complicated for the 7 year old to play by himself, but he had fun helping me play.

Love the game By Eileen Marie
Love the game, had a great time, recommend highly. Unfortunately, brought to play with close friends; the husband is color blind and had a horrible time distinquishing several of the colors which really made the game not much fun for him. Rather than concealing his tiles, he had to ask us what color they were before playing which put him at a disadvantage in developing his strategies.

Would love if manufacturers could put some type of raised marking that allowed color blind folks to detect the appropriate colors. If not for this fact, would have rated game 5 stars all around as it requires thinking, is easy to learn, moves quickly, and is fun.

Qwirkle's alternative use By Barbi's Sister
My Mom has moderate to severe Alzheimer's. An Alzheimer's website recommended Qwirkle as a game that can be used in a couple of different ways by people with limited reasoning ability. I've not yet tried to play the game according to the rules....they seem simple enough. But I've used the tiles to let Mom match colors and shapes, count tiles, and arrange them into shapes that she considers attractive.

She uses her vocabulary to tell me why she is matching the tiles as she plays with them. It is my intention to loan the set to her Day Care center and let them use it with their other clients. I'll bet they can come up with a few more creative ways to use the tiles.

Great game By BC (Ca United States)
I love this game! It requires a lot of thinking and logic. My 7 year old daughter needs help sometimes but it is a lot of fun! The pieces are great quality and will last many years.

Scrabble for any age! By Zhndrmry
We really enjoy this game of Quirkle. It has been played by Adults and even young children in our extended family. It can be easy for the young ones, or challenging for the greater thinkers as they come up with complicated moves. It is a little like playing scrabble, but easier!

a new family addiction By Mrs.Robbins
From my 83 year old father to my 6 and 8 year old nephews, my entire family is addicted to this game. My mother and sister and I play for hours on end finding the strategy challenging enough to keep us interested but at a pace which allows for good conversation in between plays. We all would Highly recommend this game for any family, especially multi-generational, multi-cultural families such as ours.

High quality game! By Reba Roberts
My seven-year-old son loves to play this game, and it's entertaining for adults too. (Both my husband and I enjoy it.) When you complete a row you shout out "quirkle!" -- reminds me of yahtzee. Much more fun than a board game, and the quality is amazing! The pieces are thick wooden squares and there is a nice white storage bag for them. So worth the money considering some of cr** you get for almost the same money.

Great game By Mrs. Will (St. Louis, MO United States)
Game is great for adults as well as children. A mothers group that I meet with love to play this game! It teaches strategy and categorization to kids too!

Awesome game! By Beth Royce (Massachusetts United States)
