Want a Happy and Successfully Life By Bruce
This book by David J. Schwartz, Ph.D. written I think in about 1959 is still as relevant today as it was then. A must for all people who want to get ahead in life wether in business or working for others. Business leaders in particular should buy multiple copies to hand to their staff, in my opinion it could be the kindest gift you could ever give an employee. For those who are wondering what working and family life is all about here it is presented in an easy to read format (no bull-dust) with blueprints built in to show you how to get to your successful and happy life.
Practical simple approach By CathyS
Excellent book with practical ideas for easy implementation. Although this book was written in 1965, the principles are timeless. Creating a personal vision is important for everyone. Dr Schwartz focuses on positive attitude, focus and the importance of being a friend first. I recommend this book to anyone.
very inspiring By David (Eastern Seaboard)
This book changed my life, because I started thinking big. This book will definitely expand your boundaries. I would have liked more detail.
Great Book! By R. Srivastav (Chicago, IL, USA)
When I received the book, I randomly opened a chapter and started reading it and I knew I was hooked to it. A lot of people read books and analyze it. I personally feel that EVERY book has at least one thing that can be learned to add value to our lives and other's lives. And this book has a bunch of them! I have not finished the book yet but every page teaches me something new or helps me generate new and positive ideas to improve my life and/or other's lives.
Think Big! By Josh Manzione (Australia)
I loved in the leadership section of the book, an example was given on how to dismiss employees - such as helping them find jobs where their skills, attributes and qualities will be useful. This really opened up my eyes. A lot of the principles near the end of the book especially, related strongly to the popular book by Dale Carnegie "How to win friends and influence people." The Magic Of Thinking Big was a pleasant read and I highly recommend it.
Good purchase By Lasma
Hey! I ordered this great book a while ago. Despite that I ordered used book, it is in a good shape, soft cover (which is not damaged), and all the pages are in!!! :) So the only thing I noticed is that all over the book every page is a little bit yellow (you know, I was used to have white pages in the books), like the newspapers becomes yellow after some time. But it's not disturbing for me. To sum up - this is a really good book in almost excellent shape (I wrote "almost" because of the yellow pages)!
Wonderful Book By Martha A. Hoy (Charleston, WV United States)
This book should be on everyone's read list. It should be required reading in school. If everyone told his advice and started thinking big they would be happier and accomplish more.
A Life Changer By Nate Watts
In the magic of thinking big David j. Schwartz relates various personal experiences along with other accounts of people who think big and people who don't. He explains how thinking big and staying positive in every aspect of life is the most important thing you can do. He iterates on how keeping a positive attitude will make some significant changes in your life as well as supplying methods of curing your fears and building confidence.
If you've ever asked yourself why your not where you want to be in any aspect of your life this book may provide the answers to that question.
My mentor handed down this book to me and it changed my life. I was a shy, virtually friendless, highschool but after embracing the teachings of this book that took a full 180 I now have just about everything I want out of life and more friends I can count and the confidence to show for it. Thinking big made me the happiest guy I know I believe it can for you to.
Highly, highly, highly recommended By ART F. LEDEZMA JR.
I think everyone should read this book, even if you are not planning on any kind of self-improvement or personal acheivement of any kind. It puts you more in touch with reality. If Keven Trudeau recceommend reading it, then by all means read it. I know he is somewhat and some times known as a controversial figure, but never the less, he didn't make his billions by accident. There is magic in the way a person thinks.
A must read By Carol Keenan (Sioux City)
The information rings as true today as it did when the book was written, maybe even more true. Except when he starts referencing annual salaries and specific jobs, you would believe it was written yesterday. If you have read it before, read it again!
