Reluctant Reader Enjoyed This By Genia (United States)
My 7 y/o son is a reluctant reader. He reads well for his age - at least according to the tests he takes at our local public school - but he doesn't love to read. He reads only when I sit down with him and go through a book. However, with this book, because he is interested in both Legoes and this Ninjago series, he read it cover to cover without any prompting! Success! If you child loves the Ninjago legoes and the Ninjago series, they may also enjoy these books.

LEGO Ninjago Reader #1: Way of the Ninja By TreceNJoy (VA, USA)
LEGO Ninjago Reader #1: Way of the Ninja is great, my son loves Ninjago, we don't watch the show but have some of the ninjago building set. This is a great intro to the red ninja Kai.

Great for reluctant readers By Sarah Hedengren (Houston, TX)
My sons are obsessed with all things ninjago. One of my sons was not too eager to read and so this book was fantastic for him. He loves it and reads it again and again, which helps with fluency. Both my boys love the pictures and the story. Highly recommend.

Way of the ninja By Manisha Aurora
This book is really awesome. The layout in beautiful and it makes a good read. My 4 year old loves ninjago and all things lego - he loved the book. The reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 as my son was disappointed that the story stops when Kai becomes a ninja. The book seems to end on a "to be continued" mode, which may disappoint some readers.
