I started purchasing the Amazon AA Alkaline batteries about 2 years ago for use in remote controls and other electronic devices around the house. They work and last just as long as higher priced batteries from national brands and with Amazon's Subscribe & save program you get a good discount with prompt shipping. I also recommend their C and AAA battery packs as well.

We go through a lot of batteries, and that gets expensive. The Amazon Basics batteries have performed really well and are a huge cost savings. I've tried cheap batteries before, and the Amazon Basics are much better. I would say they are equal quality to Duracell or Energizer.

Bought these batteries to go into my Gorilla Light. I am used to replacing the batteries several times during a one week camp out, but only had to replace the batteries once. The light stays on for 4-6 hours every evening and we did not have any dimming as the batteries dies until the very end. I highly recommend these!!

It's a lot of batteries that seem to work well at a terrific price. I wish they'd come loose (but stacked tightly) in their box rather than shrink wrapped but that's my only criticism at all.

I'll just say it, I hate buying batteries. I would usually just buy batteries as I needed them or borrow one or two from some other electronic device I wasn't using at the time. When my toddler started to acquire more and more toys that required tons of batteries, I realized it was time to stop the madness and stock up on some batteries. I came across these Amazon Basics batteries and for the price I decided to try them out. These batteries are fantastic. First of all, they come in a compact cardboard box that easily stows away until I need them. Secondly, they last a long time. I was previously using rechargeable batteries, but it seemed like they would end up lasting a shorter and shorter time period. I was just getting frustrated. Batteries are a commodity. It's a good thing that Amazon priced those as such.
Nothing to complain about these batteries. I didn't do any test but I doubt brand batteries will last longer.

I decided to give these batteries a shot as I am usually a name brand battery person for electronics I depend on in the outdoors. So far (2 sets of 2xAA) these batteries seem just a reliable as name brand batteries. There certainly not Lithium batteries but on par with other Alkaline batteries. Perfect for temps above 40 degrees. I'm using mine in an etrex, headlamps and handheld flashlights and one lantern, all are going strong.

These seem to be pretty good batteries. I cannot tell an appreciable difference between them and other batteries. These have operated fine in flash lights, cameras, and children's toys.
