The Tissue Art craft is great for kids! Mine are 7 and 3 and they thoroughly enjoyed making the crafts. These were great projects for both ages. There is no mess like in the old days of tissue art, as no glue is needed. Each shape has stickered areas sectioned off. You remove the sticker backing and attach the balled up (wadded up) tissue paper. Sometimes the sticky areas don't seem as sticky, so you may have to press pretty hard. Lots of pre-cut tissue squares, so you can choose which colors you want to use for your project. Would highly recommend!

The item was mailed very quickly. The instructions were very easy to follow and it kept my 5 year old son entertained and he was very pleased with the results of his creation :). One of the best things was that it brought everything you needed to make the different projects.

We got 3 of these Alex Boxes for Christmas. They are so great. There is craft after craft in these. When you are limited on time - how great is it to be able to grab the box and have an activity ready to go! The tissue one is a great starter because you just peel and stick. The ones with the glue stick take a little more hands on from the parent but it is so great that everything is included - including the glue stick. It is all contained in a box so you don't have parts everywhere. Really fabulous!

This craft is really basic - pretty much it is just some really, really big stickers (8" or larger I'd say) and tissue paper. You can peel off just portions of the paper on the shape at a time to reveal the sticky part. Then crumple the tissue, stick onto the shape and done! My kids ages 3 and 5 both loved crumpling the tissue, and the crafts are quick so it holds even the just-turned 3 year old's attention, and the result is really cute! No gluey mess, mom likes that! We love the Alex craft kits, they are perfect for the winter months or rainy days.

Excellent Craft for Toddlers & Very Portable for Travel By Happy
I bought this for my 2.5yr old daughter. She loved it. She was able to do it by herself without help from me...unlike some of the other Alex kits where I need to help her with the glue stick and punch out the decor. The materials required are very small and compact making it great for travel. We have taken in on a few vacations. As mentioned in some other reviews, the "sticky" part of the craft could be more sticky, but we still made it work. And we did get a little colour on our hands from some of the tissue paper, but it was very minor. Overall, I would say this is a great craft at a great price.

I got this almost a year ago for my daughter who had just turned 3. So far, we've completed the star and have just started on the flower. It's not something I let her do without assistance. She often asks for it at times when I'm not able to sit down with her. She loves crumbling up the paper and pushing it into place! We use the pictures on the box to see how to do it, which helps her learn to look at and follow the "directions." I haven't had any trouble with the tissue not sticking well--maybe because I only reveal a little of the sticky surface at a time. I've also not experienced the colors bleeding at all.

This is truly a great craft for kids of all ages! My kids (3, 5, 7) all enjoyed doing this craft! It is terrific that no glue is needed! I would definitely recommend this. They have received so many compliments on their finished products!

I did the bird with my 5 years old son. it took us a very long time to do it.It gave us time to talk and to share "quality time".....the outcome is very nice. the only problem is with the glue.
