Mascara in as pure a formula as you can buy. Based on clay and iron oxides, we leave out the lacquer, shellac and alcohol. This heavenly mascara lengthens lashes to their longest, without heavy clumps. Its water resistant, but not waterproof. Gentle, easily removed. Excellent for sensitive eyes.

Great mascara for people with ultra sensitive eyes. I searched for a long time to find a mascara that my ultra-sensative eyes were not allergic to. I tried many other mascaras that claimed to be non- irritating, but this is the only mascara I can wear for more than 2 hours without my eyes starting to itch. Comes off a little bit under my eyes during a normal day, but I will take that as opposed to not being able to wear mascara. Have bought again!

I really wanted to get away from all of the chemicals and who-knows-what in regular mascara, and was absolutely impressed with this mascara! I actually like it more than the Clinique mascara I have been using for years... it goes on really nicely, not thick and not runny, and looks great. I actually think it stays better and stays looking great longer than what I had been using. I was apprehensive to start, but am definitely happy with it!! I wouldn't go back!

This mascara is dark and rich, and it goes on smoothly. It's a great alternative to most mascaras which contain harmful ingredients. I wish it were more water resistant, but it isn't bad for a non waterproof mascara.

This is definately my favorite mascara. What I love about it is that at the end of the day, I can easily remove it and go to bed knowing that my face is clean of make-up. Other mascaras I've tried aren't as easliy removed and you have to rub at your eyes (which can't be good!). I also like how nicely it goes on and the brush isn't too big (I have fairly small eyes). It may be a little bit more expensive, but it's worth it!

I am so glad that I found Ecco Bella! I had stopped wearing mascara altogether because of the toxins that are in most of them. I couldn't find anything worthy until now! It rates a #3 on the cosmetic database, so it's pretty decent. The brush is nice and the formula isn't too runny or thick. I would buy this again.

Elegant and natural By Marina
I like to buy natural/organic products for every day use and this mascara is one example. It's not a volumizing or thickening mascara so if you want the heavy look and lashed that look like they have a pound on them, this one isn't for you. If, on the other hand, you like the cleaner, more natural look and just want to have pretty elegant lashes, you can't go wrong with Ecco Bella. I have been using this brand for ears and came back to it again. The price is great, the packaging is nice and it has a mirror on one side for easy mascara and lipstick application. It has no heavy scent. It's NOT waterproof. It washes of easily too. I use a bit of water on the finger to dab the lashes and use organic baby shampoo to remove my make up at the sink and in the shower and it works beautifully.

I love this mascara. It does go on lightly, but makes lashes beautiful. The best part of this mascara is that I can FINALLY wear mascara again!!!!!! For the past few years mascara has irritated my eyes to the point of painfully itchy, scratchy and water "allergic" eyes. This mascara has no negative effects at all! Really, I don't even notice I am wearing it until I take it off (easily) at night. No more irritation....just beautiful eyes once again!!
