Customer Reviews
great product, pump sucks By Dawn White (Twin Lake, MI)
Abreva works great. I feel my cold sore coming on which I get at least twice a year, and I start putting abreva on it right away before it has a chance to turn into an open sore and I end up not getting the open sore. Do not waste your money on the pump. Like another reader said it's horrible. They charge a lot of money and it totally sucks. I'm sure they have gotten complaints, but I'm sure they don't care. They make a lot of money that way.

Works great for me By A Customer
I've been using Abreva for many years now, and have found it to be the only medication that helps. Maybe it's just me, but this product is great in my opinion. Haven't tried the pump yet, but looks like it should work fine.

Fast acting healing product By Lala
Once you start feeling the symptoms, rub it into skin 5 times a day, that way the sore doesn't even grow! The gel stunts it like you never had it, but you HAVE to detect it at the first sign, otherwise the gel won't be as effective and will just try to speed up the healing process over several days.

Graet item and Great Price! By Sheela (REYNOLDSBURG, OHIO, US)
Hello i usually get at least once a year a cold sore on my finger and my Doctor recommended me applying this whenever i can to avoid the flare up.I found buying it here saved me money and the sore from appearing more often.I am a very happy customer.

Works for me; the earlier, the betterBy J. P. Laughlin (South Mississippi)
I've used Abreva for years. It helps, no matter when I use it, but it works best if I use it as soon as I feel that "tingle" or "itch." Also, it helps to keep using it even after you don't feel pain. Stop too soon and the sore lasts longer.

Works for me every time By B. Mitchell (Seattle, WA United States)
I sometimes have cold sore outbreaks several times a year and used to be miserable for days. For me, Abreva relieves the pain and itching and I've definitely noticed that it shortens the time and stops the spreading. I've found it works best when I follow the directions exactly (washing hands before and after, washing the area first, using 5 times a day, rubbing the dose in thoroughly). I always have a tube on hand.
