I have tried another generic brand and the taste and consistency is not quite the same. In fact, my dog loves this product-he can't wait for snack time! My vet suggested this product 3 years ago and I have been buying these soft chews since. I tried to switch one time, just to save a FEW dollars, (BIG MISTAKE) and my dog didn't like the substitute brand with the similar name from another website!!! So, (no more Hylox) only Phycox for my dog. He can still run around the yard and jump up on the bed at night, and that makes me VERY HAPPY!!

My four Dachshunds have been using this supplement for a month now. They move well, are perky, and definitely got a boost from it. Noticed it after 2-3 weeks. They like the chew tabs. It is so much easier to use this product than the individual powders I used in the past. I am happy, dogs are happy. I already ordered the small bites for the maintenance dose. I think I might go back to the bigger chew tabs and break them in half. Get just a bit bigger dose that way.

What a great product.....and both my dogs love it. The liver flavor in this 'medicine' really makes giving these to my dogs more of a treat. They both love the taste and the ingredients really do help them get around with less pain. One of my dogs is 14+, the other is 10. I would definitely recommend this product to those looking for relief for age related arthritis.

I have been using this product for over 3 years. My golden retriever began having difficulty in getting up and also had developed a limp. My vet recommended Phycox. Initially I treatment on a daily basis but after a month I was able to cut back to 3 times a week. Now at the first sign of limping I can treat my retriever for 2-3 days and the limp is gone. I would highly recommend you try this product. It may not work for everyone but I have used with great results.
